'A Band of Trolls'
Submissions close end of September. We're looking for short stories of up to five thousand words and poetry of any length. One submission per author. Please send your work to us as a Word document (no headers, footers, or page numbers please) to westavenuepublishing@outlook.com
We accept reprints, as long as the author holds copyright.
Successful authors will receive a £10 payment, and it's free to submit your work to us for consideration.
I saw this call late so don’t think I will have my questions answered in time to submit my story. I was just wondering if you could give me some information for possible future calls. This would have been the first time I have submitted a story that I have written for a call like this. I just wanted to check that the only thing I needed to do in terms of formatting was remove headers, footers and page numbers?
ReplyDeleteI don't have any form of copyright on my story as of yet. Is that something you would advise before submitting? If my story was to be selected, would you hold the publishing rights for a set period of time or would I be free to submit elsewhere if another opportunity came up?
What information would you need in the covering email along with the attached word document?
